Project EHS Lead - Data Centres - Norway

Location: Norway

Lead Health & Safety on Some of Europe's Largest Data Centre Construction Projects.

We're recruiting an experienced Project EHS Lead to join a leading international engineering and construction organisation delivering major hyperscale data centre projects in Norway.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety professional who enjoys working on technically complex, fast-paced construction projects where safety leadership genuinely shapes project success.

If you've led EHS on data centres, mission critical facilities, pharmaceuticals, advanced manufacturing, industrial or large-scale infrastructure projects, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

As Project EHS Lead, you'll be the senior Health, Safety & Environmental leader across major construction projects, partnering with Project Directors, delivery teams and contractors to create an industry-leading safety culture.

You'll drive compliance, improve contractor performance and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest possible standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project-wide Health, Safety & Environmental strategy
  • Promote a proactive, behavioural safety culture
  • Ensure compliance with construction legislation and client requirements
  • Lead contractor audits, inspections and senior leadership safety tours
  • Review high-risk RAMS, permits and lifting operations
  • Investigate incidents and drive continuous improvement
  • Manage contractor EHS KPIs and performance
  • Deliver training, toolbox talks and competency development
  • Partner with senior project leadership to influence project delivery and safety performance

About You

You'll likely have experience in one or more of the following:

  • Data Centre Construction
  • Mission Critical Projects
  • Industrial Construction
  • Pharmaceutical Facilities
  • Energy Projects
  • Advanced Manufacturing
  • Major Infrastructure

You'll also bring:

  • Extensive construction Health & Safety leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of construction legislation 
  • Experience managing principal contractors and subcontractors
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualifications
  • Fluent English
