The role and key responsibilities Making sure that everyone involved in projects goes home safely every day and ensuring the team follow current legal requirements Developing, documenting and challenging the Project Brief Maintaining the Project Process, Toolkit and Tracker as it applies to projects Effectively managing project costs; identifying financial risks, ensuring projects come in under Budget, ensuring the team manage money like it is their own Effectively managing project programmes, ensuring projects come in on time and risks are identified early and managed Managing project quality; ensuring their colleagues are entirely satisfied with the outcome Working closely with IT as part of the virtual team, so that technical infrastructure requirements are considered from the outset and implemented accordingly Ensuring effective handover to the Service teams or colleagues, as appropriate, on completion of a project Working closely with the Real Estate team to provide guidance and advice on potential new buildings, Due Diligences, lease and L&T technical support, M&As, etc Being across best practices in project management, sharing this knowledge with the team Leading on change management where this applies to all projects, ensuring workplace schemes are understood by, and effective for, colleagues Ensuring the successful delivery of projects directly as a Project Manager, getting directly involved when needed to support peers and colleagues Your skills An accredited relevant construction professional qualification (MAPM, MCIOB or MRICS) Proven large-scale and varied construction Project Management experience, including a variety of undertakings in the workplace sector Held a similar role in a client organisation - and preferably as a provider of professional Programme or Project Management advisory services Proven team leadership experience, of both 'client side' and external resource A detailed knowledge of UK construction legislation, regulations and code Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation and creative skills High standards, taking great pride in the work they do Able to see the bigger picture, yet also very detail-focussed A natural collaborator, enjoys working with and through others to get the job done A great communicator Passionate about thinking differently and seeing great concepts translated into reality If you're ready to work in a dynamic environment alongside talented people who take pride in delivering great results, please contact our Project Management team to find out more on +44 (0) 203 757 5000 or email PM@capstone-recruitment.com Transparency Notice to Prospective Candidates We process certain personal information about you for our legitimate business interests in order to identify and contact suitable candidates about positions that may be relevant to them.
