Senior Project Manager – Residential Development

The Opportunity

Capstone Recruitment is working with an independent Project Management, Cost Management and Employer's Agent consultancy looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to join its growing London team.

The consultancy specialises in delivering large-scale residential, mixed-use and commercial developments, with particular expertise across Build-to-Rent (BTR), Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) and co-living schemes.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced consultancy Project Manager looking to take ownership of major development projects within a smaller, collaborative business that offers direct access to senior leadership and genuine opportunities for career progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of large-scale residential and mixed-use developments from inception through to completion.

• Act as the primary client contact, managing relationships with developers, investors, consultants and contractors.

• Oversee the full project lifecycle, including feasibility, design, pre-construction, procurement, construction and handover.

• Undertake Project Management and Employer's Agent responsibilities, including contract administration under JCT contracts.

• Manage project programmes, budgets, risks and reporting to ensure successful delivery

About You

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong construction consultancy background and proven experience delivering residential developments.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience working within a construction Project Management or Employer's Agent consultancy.

• A strong track record delivering residential developments, ideally across BTR, PBSA, co-living or large-scale residential schemes.

• Experience managing projects through the full development lifecycle.

• Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and Employer's Agent responsibilities.
