The Opportunity

Our US business operates in specialist markets where the best candidates are rarely applying for jobs. They are typically performing well, in demand and need a compelling reason to even consider a conversation about moving.

We are looking for someone who gets a buzz from finding those people and has the drive and relentlessness to keep going until they do.

This role is about becoming exceptionally good at identifying hard-to-find talent, understanding what matters to them and creating enough interest and trust to start a conversation.

You'll work from our London office as part of the team supporting our growing US business. Your focus will be candidate identification, engagement and ultimately placements across the US.

As you'll be supporting the US market, some flexibility around working hours will be required to accommodate different time zones.

The Person We're Looking For

We're less interested in whether you've followed a conventional recruitment career and more interested in how you think, operate and what naturally drives you.

This role will suit someone with a very high level of internal motivation. You won't need someone setting the pace for you. You'll create it yourself.

You'll ideally bring:

• Experience: 2+ years in recruitment, or another relevant commercial environment. 

• Exceptional self-motivation: You set high standards and take ownership

• Grit and resilience: You're relentless in your pursuit of results, persistent when faced with challenges and always looking for another way forward

• Pace and urgency: You thrive in a fast-moving environment, manage competing priorities and act quickly without compromising quality

• Investigative mindset: You enjoy detailed research, have the patience to search thoroughly and the determination to find people others can't

• Commercial drive: You're motivated by outcomes, turning research and conversations into interviews, opportunities and placements

• Communication and influence: You're engaging, persuasive and professional, with the ability to build trust and understand what motivates people

• Tech-savvy approach: You're confident embracing new technology, including AI, to work smarter and more effectively

• Team mentality: You're collaborative, energetic and committed to a one team, one goal approach

Experience with Bullhorn would be beneficial, but isn't essential.
