This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the world's leading technical engineering and construction partners, delivering high-value turnkey projects across Data Centres, throughout EMEA, APAC and the Americas.

Our client specialises in engineering excellence, innovation and the successful delivery of complex, mission-critical facilities. As the European business continues to grow, we're seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the successful delivery of major Data Centre projects in Germany.

The Role

As Project Director, you'll provide overall leadership across the full project lifecycle, taking responsibility for commercial performance, programme delivery, quality, safety and client satisfaction.

You'll lead multidisciplinary project teams, manage key client relationships and ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably and to the exceptional standards that define the company.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership

•Lead the successful delivery of major Data Centre construction projects.

•Provide strategic direction to project teams from pre-construction through to handover.

•Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders.

Commercial & Financial Management

•Take ownership of project budgets and commercial performance.

•Manage variations, final accounts and extension of time requirements.

•Ensure project profitability and commercial objectives are achieved.

Programme & Delivery

•Oversee project planning, controls and programme management.

•Drive value engineering and continuous improvement throughout project delivery.

•Ensure robust project governance and reporting.

Team Leadership

•Lead, mentor and develop high-performing multidisciplinary teams.

•Foster collaboration across internal departments and supply chain partners.

•Support career development and succession planning within project teams.

Health, Safety & Quality

•Champion a positive safety culture across all project activities.

•Ensure compliance with quality standards, legislation and company procedures.

•Promote best practice throughout project delivery.

About You

We're looking for an experienced construction leader who has successfully delivered major projects in complex environments.

You'll ideally have:

•Significant Project Director or Senior Project Management experience within large-scale construction.

•Strong background delivering Data Centres, Mission Critical, Pharmaceutical, Industrial or similarly complex projects.

•Excellent commercial and contractual management experience.

•Proven ability to lead large multidisciplinary teams.

•Outstanding client relationship and stakeholder management skills.

•Strong leadership, communication and decision-making abilities.

•A track record of delivering projects safely, on programme and within budget.
