This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading technical engineering and construction partner delivering complex, mission-critical projects across Europe, the Americas and APAC. Our client specialises in Data Centres, delivering turnkey solutions with an uncompromising focus on quality, safety and innovation.

Due to continued growth across European operations, our client is looking for an experienced Site Setting Out Engineer to join one of the major Data Centre projects in Germany.

The Role

As a Setting Out Engineer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accurate delivery of civil, structural and architectural works across a major construction project. Working closely with the project team, you'll establish site control, verify construction works and ensure the highest levels of quality throughout delivery.

Key Responsibilities

•Carry out precise setting out for civil, structural and architectural works.

•Establish and maintain site control networks, benchmarks and survey records.

•Verify dimensions, levels and coordinates against construction drawings and BIM models.

•Work collaboratively with Project Managers, Design Teams and subcontractors to ensure accurate project delivery.

•Produce and maintain as-built surveys and quality documentation.

•Monitor surveying activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.

•Support the project team in maintaining programme milestones through accurate site engineering.

What We're Looking For

•Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Surveying or a related discipline.

•3-5 years' experience in a Setting Out Engineer position on large-scale construction projects.

•Previous experience on Data Centre or other mission-critical projects is highly desirable.

•Strong knowledge of Total Stations, GPS/GNSS equipment and surveying software.

•Excellent understanding of construction drawings, coordinate systems and QA procedures.

•Strong communication skills with the ability to work within multidisciplinary project teams.

•A proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent attention to detail.
