Senior Cost Manager – Data Centers (USA)

Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 USD + Bonus + Relocation Package

Capstone is partnering with a globally recognised construction and property consultancy to recruit an experienced Senior Cost Manager to join their rapidly growing Mission Critical team in the United States.

This is an excellent opportunity to work exclusively on hyperscale data center developments valued in excess of $1 billion, delivering complex projects for some of the world's most prestigious Big Tech clients. You will play a key role in the successful delivery of large-scale data center campuses while working alongside industry-leading professionals within one of the most respected consultancies in the sector.

The business has established itself as a trusted advisor across the mission critical market and continues to secure landmark projects across North America. With a strong pipeline of major developments and significant investment in the sector, they are seeking a high-calibre Senior Cost Manager to support project delivery and contribute to the continued growth of the team.

The Opportunity

• Lead cost management services on hyperscale data center developments exceeding $1 billion in value
• Work directly with globally recognised technology clients and key project stakeholders
• Support projects through all phases of delivery, from pre-construction through to completion
• Collaborate with experienced Directors and senior leadership on some of the most complex mission critical schemes in the market

Skills & Experience Required

• Degree qualified, ideally in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline
• MRICS qualification desirable but not essential
• Strong pre- and post-contract cost management experience within the United States
• Proven experience delivering large-scale construction projects, ideally within data centers, mission critical, advanced technology, industrial or major infrastructure sectors
• Experience managing projects valued at $500 million+ with exposure to billion-dollar developments highly advantageous
• Strong commercial acumen and cost management expertise
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with high-profile clients and project teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proactive, detail-oriented and capable of operating within fast-paced project environments
