Senior Quantity Surveyor – Data Centres (Relocation to the USA)

Locations: Lubbock, Texas | Phoenix, Arizona | Portsmouth, Ohio

A leading international construction consultancy is seeking experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors to support the delivery of large-scale hyperscale data centre developments across the United States.

The Role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will provide commercial and cost management services throughout the full project lifecycle, working closely with clients, contractors and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and managing cost plans and project budgets.
• Producing estimates, forecasts and cost reports.
• Managing procurement and tender processes.
• Administering contracts and assessing variations.
• Cost reporting, cash flow forecasting and change management.
• Reviewing contractor applications and commercial submissions.
• Providing commercial advice throughout both pre-contract and post-contract stages.
• Supporting the successful delivery of major data centre programmes.

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Experience within a consultancy or professional cost management environment.
• Demonstrable pre-contract and post-contract cost management experience on major construction projects.
• Strong commercial awareness and client-facing communication skills.
• Data centre experience is advantageous; however, candidates with experience across commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical or major infrastructure projects are encouraged to apply.
• MRICS is beneficial but not essential.
