BMS Manager - Data Centres - Germany

Location: Frankfurt

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced BMS Package Manager to lead the delivery of Building Management Systems on large-scale mission critical construction projects.

In this role, you will take ownership of the BMS package from design coordination through installation, commissioning, and final handover, ensuring seamless integration with mechanical and electrical systems.

About the role:

• Take full ownership of the BMS / EPMS package delivery from design review through construction and commissioning.

• Manage BMS subcontractors, suppliers, and specialist vendors on site.
• Review and coordinate BMS/PMS design documentation to ensure buildability and programme alignment.
• Ensure integration of BMS with mechanical and electrical systems.
• Manage technical queries (RFIs), design coordination, and involved parties’ communication.
• Oversee QA/QC processes, inspections, and commissioning activities.
• Track project programme milestones, progress reporting, and risk management.
• Support all commissioning stages L1 to L5, specially integrated system testing (IST) and final client handover.

About you: 

You will likely have experience in:

• Building Management Systems (BMS) / Building Automation / Controls with site delivery experience.
• Electrical, mechanical or Building Services Engineering
• Willingness to work site-based (5 days per week)
• Data centre, pharmaceutical, or industrial construction projects
• Managing subcontractors and coordinating multidisciplinary teams on site
• Experience delivering BMS or controls packages on large construction projects
• Strong understanding of HVAC and MEP system operation and integration
• Experience with testing, commissioning, and system handover

You may currently be an experienced: 

• BMS Engineer
• Controls Engineer
• Electrical/mechanical Package Manager with primary knowledge of control
• MEP Engineer/Supervisor
• Commissioning Engineer
