Position: Regional Manager

Salary: IRO €62,000 plus bonus, car + benefits 

Location: Amsterdam, The Netherlands

This is an exciting opportunity for a Regional Manager to join a market-leading organisation. You will help to drive success in the Netherlands by leading, developing, and inspiring teams to achieve outstanding results.

We are searching for a candidate who champions a coaching culture through effective leadership, recruitment, and ongoing training, ensuring every team member reaches their full potential. You will be accountable for implementing regional strategies, maintaining high standards of compliance, and fostering a positive, customer-focused environment.

 

About you

  • Proven experience in multi-site retail or managing a sales team. 
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills, with a commitment to regular coaching sessions.
  • Track record of delivering sales and profit growth.
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage performance, drive change, and build a positive team culture.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (other European languages beneficial but not essential).
  • Knowledge of local and national market conditions.
  • Willingness to travel across the region and occasionally within Europe

About the role 

  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing teams, supporting succession planning and capability building.
  • Deliver 1:1 coaching sessions with each direct report to support their performance, growth, and engagement.
  • Implement regional plans to achieve sales, profit, and customer service targets, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Set, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including sales conversion rate, audit results, and customer feedback scores.
  • Analyse performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Lead manager meetings to review activities, set regional priorities, share best practices, and recognise high performance.
  • Ensure all team members receive regular progress discussions and formal performance evaluations, with action plans to drive improvement.
  • Collaborate with HR and other central teams to resolve employee relations issues, support wellbeing, and optimise regional performance.
  • Oversee and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards, reacting quickly to resolve any issues.
  • Develop and maintain a culture of excellent customer service delivery across the region, ensuring customer needs are met and exceeded.
  • Promote a culture of simplicity, efficiency, and continuous improvement, identifying and implementing process improvements.
