Capstone Recruitment has been exclusively mandated by Beyond to appoint a Senior Development Manager to join its growing London team.

Established in 2018, Beyond is an independent development, project and asset management business. Working across its own development projects and for third-party clients, the business advises a diverse client base including investors, developers, landowners, private families, great estates and public-sector organisations.

Beyond is a small, agile and highly collaborative business working across a diverse range of projects, from complex mixed-use developments through to large logistics facilities.

This is a broad development role for someone who enjoys working across the full development lifecycle and wants to play an important part in the continued growth of an entrepreneurial development business.

The Role

The successful candidate will work across a diverse range of asset classes and projects while also helping Beyond expand its Development Management advisory offering.

• Assessing new development opportunities and identifying potential development strategies
• Preparing development appraisals and options analysis
• Leading projects through initial concept design and the planning process
• Advising clients across all stages of the development lifecycle
• Identifying, mitigating and managing development risk
• Working across residential, commercial, mixed-use and industrial projects
• Managing senior client and stakeholder relationships
• Supporting the continued growth of Beyond’s Development Management advisory offering
• Developing existing client relationships and originating new business opportunities
• Mentoring and supporting junior colleagues

About You

We are looking for an MRICS-qualified development professional with a minimum of eight years’ experience gained within client-side Development Management and/or Development Consultancy.

Strong development appraisal skills are essential, alongside experience of planning, development strategy, options analysis and assessing new development opportunities.

Candidates should combine strong technical and commercial capability with excellent communication and relationship-building skills. You should be comfortable advising clients at a senior level, managing multiple stakeholders and identifying creative but practical commercial solutions.

Working pattern: Minimum 4 days per week in the office
