Overview

Our client is a leading global consultancy supporting the development and delivery of large-scale hyperscale data centre projects across the United States. Due to continued growth in the mission critical sector, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support end-to-end project delivery from early planning through construction and handover.

The role will suit a Project Manager with 5–10 years’ experience in complex, technically demanding construction environments, ideally within data centres, mission critical, industrial, life sciences, or large-scale commercial projects. Full visa sponsorship and relocation support are provided.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of hyperscale data centre projects from feasibility, design coordination and procurement through construction and commissioning
  • Act as the client-facing Project Manager, representing the consultancy on site and in stakeholder meetings
  • Manage project programmes, budgets, risk registers and reporting
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams including designers, contractors, vendors and client stakeholders
  • Support procurement strategy, contractor appointments and change management processes
  • Monitor construction progress, quality, health & safety and risk mitigation
  • Support commissioning, handover and close-out processes
  • Prepare clear, accurate project reports for senior stakeholders and hyperscale clients


Experience & Skills Required

  • 5–10 years’ experience in a Project Management role within construction or infrastructure
  • Experience delivering data centre, mission critical, industrial or similarly complex projects and exposure to large-scale, fast-track or technical builds
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, MEP coordination and programme management
  • Experience working for a consultancy, project management or engineering-led organisation preferred
  • Comfortable working in live construction environments and on client sites across the US
  • Willingness and ability to relocate to the USA, with visa sponsorship provided.
  • Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of cost, risk and change control
  • Structured, detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
  • Degree necessary, ideally in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline
  • Professional certification such as PMP, CCM, RICS, APM or similar desirable
