We are acting for a family-owned international real estate investor and hotel owner-operator, renowned for developing and operating high-end luxury hospitality assets globally. The group takes a long-term, quality-driven approach to development, with in-house project management and direct oversight of delivery.
They are currently progressing a major luxury hotel development in Venice, now entering the critical fit-out and commissioning stages.
The Role
The Building Services Manager will take ownership of all MEP and specialist systems on site, acting as the client’s technical representative throughout construction, testing, commissioning and handover. This is a fully site-based delivery role, requiring daily presence and close coordination with contractors and consultants.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee installation and coordination of all MEP systems
- Ensure compliance with design intent, Italian regulations and operator standards
- Monitor progress, quality and technical performance of contractors
- Lead testing, commissioning and handover of all building services
- Act as the client-side authority on MEP matters on site
Candidate Profile
- Degree-qualified in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering
- Strong site-based MEP delivery experience
- Hospitality experience preferred (complex projects also considered)
- Fluent Italian and good–fluent English
- Venice-based or willing to relocate
