Position: Senior Project Manager – Data Centers

Salary: Up to $200,000 plus benefits

Location: Dallas, TX

About the role:

The Senior Project Manager (Sr. PM) is responsible for providing leadership, strategic direction, and oversight on large-scale or complex construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role ensures that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the company’s quality standards while maintaining strong client relationships and driving operational excellence.

The Sr. Project Manager acts as a key leader within the organization, managing multiple project teams and mentoring project managers, engineers, and coordinators. They serve as the primary liaison between the client, design team, and construction operations.

Project Leadership & Execution


•Lead overall planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale or multi-phase construction projects.

•Oversee the preparation of project schedules, budgets, and cost control systems.

•Ensure that projects adhere to design specifications, contract terms, and company standards.

•Manage the procurement process, including bidding, subcontractor selection, and contract negotiations.

•Monitor performance metrics for cost, quality, and schedule proactively addressing risks and variances.


Financial & Contract Management


•Establish and maintain project budgets, cash flow projections, and cost forecasting.

•Review, negotiate, and administer owner and subcontractor contracts.

•Approve payments, change orders, and invoices.

•Drive profitability while maintaining client satisfaction and operational integrity.







Team Leadership & Development


•Lead and mentor project management staff, site superintendents, and support teams.

•Build high-performing teams that foster collaboration, accountability, and results.

•Support employee growth through coaching, training, and performance feedback.

•Promote alignment between field operations and project management.


Client & Stakeholder Management


•Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and key project partners.

•Lead progress meetings and maintain transparent, proactive communication with all stakeholders.

•Manage expectations and build long-term relationships through exceptional service delivery.

•Participate in business development and preconstruction presentations for future opportunities.


Safety & Quality


•Champion company safety culture and ensure compliance with all safety programs and regulations.

•Oversee project quality plans, inspections, and testing to ensure conformance with standards.

•Ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly for any deficiencies or safety incidents.


Preconstruction & Strategic Input


•Collaborate with estimating and preconstruction teams to develop accurate budgets and constructability reviews.

•Provide input during design and value-engineering phases to optimize cost and efficiency.

•Contribute to company-wide process improvement, best practices, and project delivery strategies.



About you:

Qualifications

•Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

•5 years of construction experience in field coordination, site supervision, or related role.

•Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and site safety practices.

•Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

•Proficiency with construction software (Procore, CMiC, Viewpoint, Bluebeam, or similar).

•Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.

•Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.

•Safety certifications such as OSHA 30, CSO, COR, or equivalent preferred.
