Position: Scheduler – Data Centers

Salary: Up to $150,000 plus benefits

Location: Dallas, TX

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading international technical engineering and construction partner operating across the UK, Ireland, North America and Mainland Europe.

About the role:

This role serves as the technical authority for project scheduling, ensuring schedules are logic-driven, resource-informed, and aligned with the execution strategy, contractual requirements, and client expectations.

The Scheduler partners closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Engineering, Procurement, and Commercial teams to proactively manage schedule risk, monitor progress, and support informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

Schedule Development & Management


•Develop, manage, and maintain fully logic-linked Primavera P6 schedules from preconstruction through project closeout

•Ensure schedules reflect scope, means and methods, procurement strategies, commissioning activities, and handover milestones

•Incorporate design, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning, and client activities into a single integrated schedule


Progress Tracking & Reporting


•Perform schedule updates, variance analysis, and critical path analysis

•Prepare schedule narratives, dashboards, and executive-level reports for internal and client use

•Identify schedule deviations, trends, and emerging risks, and communicate impacts clearly to stakeholders


Schedule Risk & Change Management


•Proactively identify schedule risks, constraints, and opportunities

•Support development and implementation of mitigation and recovery plans

•Perform what-if scenarios, impact analyses, and time impact analyses (TIAs)

•Support change management efforts, including evaluation of delay claims and schedule impacts


Preconstruction & Planning Support


•Support preconstruction teams with high-level milestone schedules, logistics sequencing, and pursuit schedules

•Collaborate with estimating and engineering teams to validate durations, sequencing, and assumptions

•Provide schedule input for proposals, client presentations, and execution planning


Standards, Governance & Continuous Improvement


•Ensure compliance with internal project controls procedures and client scheduling specifications

•Support continuous improvement in scheduling accuracy, predictability, and efficiency



Mentorship & Collaboration


•Provide guidance and technical support to project schedulers and project teams

•Promote strong collaboration between project controls, operations, and commercial teams

•Support training and development initiatives related to Primavera P6 and scheduling best practices



About you:

Required

•Minimum 8 years of progressive scheduling experience on complex construction projects

•Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (required)

•Strong understanding of construction sequencing, means and methods, and design-build delivery

•Experience developing and managing integrated, resource-loaded schedules

•Ability to perform critical path analysis and schedule risk assessments

•Strong communication skills with the ability to present schedule information clearly to diverse audiences


Preferred

•Experience in food, pharmaceutical, data center, logistics, or advanced manufacturing sectors

•Experience supporting GMP, negotiated, or fast-track design-build projects

•Familiarity with schedule risk analysis tools and progress measurement techniques

•Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
