Sophie Parker is Head of People Development & Talent Acquisition at Pure Data Centres Group, where she leads on talent strategy, leadership development and organisational growth. Reporting into the Group People & Culture Director, Sophie plays a central role in shaping how the business attracts, develops and retains high-performing talent across the organisation.
At the heart of Sophie’s work is a genuine passion for developing people. She has a particular strength in supporting individuals who already possess strong technical capability but lack the confidence to fully step into their potential. Whether it is helping someone find their voice in senior forums, build confidence in public speaking, or recognise the value of their own skill set, Sophie is highly skilled at drawing out strengths that individuals may not yet see in themselves.
Her mentoring style is structured yet flexible. She believes a loose framework works best, allowing space for honest conversation while ensuring that mentees take ownership of their development. Sophie places strong emphasis on goal clarity and personal accountability, encouraging mentees to approach the relationship with purpose, ambition, and a clear sense of what they want to achieve.
Sophie has extensive experience mentoring women and is particularly passionate about supporting those returning from maternity leave, helping them rebuild confidence, navigate career progression and balance professional ambition with personal responsibilities.
