About the Company

Our client is reinventing how the world uses data centres - delivering flexible, optimised colocation services with outstanding customer support, all powered by sustainable energy. Following a recent acquisition, the business is investing heavily in new capacity across Europe.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing, innovative organisation at the forefront of sustainable infrastructure, where you’ll learn from experienced engineers and contribute to cutting-edge data centre design projects.

The Role

We are seeking a motivated Graduate Engineer to join the Design & Product Development team in London. Reporting to the Head of Design & Product Development, you will support the design and development of the next generation of data centres.

This role will provide hands-on exposure to engineering design, modelling, simulation, and CAD, as well as collaboration with utility providers, vendors, and operations teams across the UK, Finland, and Iceland. It’s a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate with a passion for technology, infrastructure, and sustainability to kick-start their career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new design concepts and present them to the team, working with senior engineers to take ideas through to execution.
  • Contribute to technical feasibility studies, including market research and analysis of emerging data centre and energy technologies.
  • Assist with technical whitepapers and reports to support the Product Development Roadmap.
  • Support vendor coordination and contribute to project success at all stages.
  • Take ownership of smaller product initiatives under the guidance of senior team members.

Key Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Hands-on experience in CAD and the ability to quickly learn new tools and skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership or project management within academic or extracurricular settings.
  • Strong interest in the built environment, infrastructure, and sustainable technologies.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (UK, Finland, Iceland).

What’s on Offer

  • Salary of £30,000 – £40,000, plus benefits.
  • Opportunity to join a fast-growing, private equity-backed business with strong investment in new projects.
  • A supportive, innovative, and inclusive culture with a focus on learning and growth.
  • Hands-on experience across international projects in a dynamic and ambitious team.
  • Real career development opportunities in the sustainable infrastructure and data centre sectors.
