The Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join the Design & Product Development team in London. Reporting to the Head of Design & Product Development, you will take ownership of electrical infrastructure design, spanning HV, MV, LV, and ELV systems, and play a key role in developing next-generation data centre and energy solutions.

You’ll work with utility providers, technology vendors, and systems integrators, alongside the traditional data centre supply chain, providing subject matter expertise from feasibility through to construction and operational handover. This is a global role, collaborating with teams across the UK, Finland, and Iceland.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical infrastructure design from strategic brief to operational handover.
• Manage vendor and consultant relationships, ensuring due diligence, compliance, and feasibility during early project stages.
• Research emerging data centre and energy technologies, producing technical whitepapers to inform the product roadmap.
• Own and deliver product development initiatives from concept through to launch.
• Partner with development and operations teams across multiple international sites.

Key Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years’ experience in the design or delivery of large infrastructure projects.
• Hands-on experience with Revit.
• Chartered or on track towards professional accreditation.
• Proven ability to lead projects or initiatives to successful outcomes.
• Strong interest in the built environment, energy systems, and infrastructure.
• Flexibility to travel internationally (UK, Finland, Iceland).
