WORKSPACE PROJECT LEAD

CENTRAL LONDON

£85,000 - £110,000 PLUS FANTASTIC BONUS & BENEFITS

Capstone are working closely with a highly regarded central London Property Investment and Development company to recruit a Workspace Project Lead. Our client is primarily office focused with retail and some residential within central London with approximately £2.5 billion of real estate. Our client focuses on acquiring and developing properties through effective portfolio management or redevelopment.

The Workspace Project Lead will principally deliver the fit-out of flexible workspace. This Project Lead will play a key role in the development and improvement of the clients' Flexible Workspace offering including Cat B / turn-key fitted space and additional building amenities.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who can work autonomously and lead teams, with a commercial and progressive mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and co-ordinate external teams to deliver flexible workspace within the parameters set down in the project brief and the property business plan needs to ensure all projects are delivered within budget and on
• Coordinate, research and maintain internal awareness of the latest approach to procurement and delivery of flexible workspace.
• Work closely with the Design Lead to obtain clear design direction and the relevant Portfolio Manager to establish a clear business plan for all portfolio
• Support the Portfolio Manager in obtaining timely approval for Business Plans and fit-out strategies from the Executive Committee and where necessary, Board.
• Ensure that the Company's Corporate Responsibility values and objectives are actively pursued in their area of work and will keep up to date with all required and relevant legislation.
• Line management responsibility for junior members of team.

About you

• Will likely have a background in project management within the flex office
• Proven track record of projects to a high level of quality, on time and within budget
• Experience within the Real Estate sector, with experience in the office and possibly hospitality sectors
• Commercial mindset ensuring projects meet business plan and wider business requirements
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate internal requirements to external consultants and contractors
• Passion for real estate and an eye for detail
• Experience of working in a professional/technically oriented organisation
• Previous line management responsibility is preferable but evidenced ability to mentor, lead and guide a direct report is fundamental.
