Quantity Surveyor, Residential - Consultancy 
London 
Up to £65,000, plus bonus (up to 20%)

We are partnering with a growing, boutique cost and project management consultancy that specialises in residential projects. Their work encompasses all residential tenures, including Later Living, PBSA, BTR, Student Accommodation, and more. Though this firm is relatively small, they have already built a robust client base and collaborate with prominent developers with project values up to £200 million.
Due to a strong influx of work from both new and existing clients, our client is seeking to add a skilled Quantity Surveyor to their team to fast-track their career to senior/associate level in the near future.

Responsibilities

• Undertake feasibility cost estimates and detailed cost plans.
• Understand & communicate risk associated with design proposals.
• Deliver post contract duties including payment, cost reporting and contract administration.
• Work closely with clients, design teams and contractors to optimise solutions.
• Experience of project procurement and differing routes available.
• Identify better buying, value management and supply chain opportunities.
• Undertake data collection to support benchmarking and knowledge management.
• Manage and own client relationships.
• Experience with Employer's Agent responsibilities.
• Opportunity to be involved with Project Management responsibilities if wanted.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience working on residential projects.
• Ideally experience within Build to Rent or PBSA
• Extensive knowledge of the real estate industry and construction processes.
• Expertise in the different stages of construction projects, starting from pre-construction planning and acquisition, through construction, completion, and eventual handover.
• Individuals who can lead teams and manage multiple projects.
• Skilled in developing Client and other project relationships.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management
• Proficiency in industry software and tools.
• A track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget.
