Senior Project Manager

£80000.00 - £90000.00 per annum    East London, London

TITLE: SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER LOCATION: EAST LONDON PACKAGE: £80,000 - £90,000 pa + company benefits & bonus Capstone have partnered with a special purpose vehicle set up specifically to manage a 20 year construction program within the highways sector. Part of the programme is two major bridge replacement projects which are two of the most significant highways projects over the last 50 years. This role is a client side strategic lead in the delivery of complex highway infrastructure projects, from inception through to handover. Acting as client, the role will primarily consist of contract, sub-contractor, commercial and stakeholder management, ensuring the safe and successful delivery of major infrastructure projects within the agreed time, quality and cost parameters. Projects value circa £20m - £50m. Key responsibilities: Responsible for the overall management and performance of the project including planning, design, construction, programme controls and monitoring, ensuring the project is delivered to time, budget and specification Working with the in house commercial team to formalise and implement NEC contracts with all parties Commercial management of the project including managing budgets and creating budget reports with the support of the commercial team Managing the tender process and the engagement and appointment of main works contractors (Principal contractors and Principal Designers) Managing the NEC contract throughout all phases of the project managing all contractual correspondence including early warnings, compensation events and change Stakeholder management including Transport for London, London Boroughs and local members of parliament Developing reports for the COO and the company Board of Directors on project progress, as required Key requirements: Degree educated in a relevant field; Project Management, Construction, Engineering Relevant professional accreditation; MRICS, MCIOB or other relevant institution Experience in delivering multi million pound infrastructure and highways projects. 10 years' experience working as a Project Manager for consultancies or client side organisations. Strong understanding of NEC contracts. Demonstrable experience of relevant stakeholder management in similar projects. Senior Project Manager West London Up to £85,000 + Package & Bonus Capstone are working in partnership with a West London based Private Family office to source a Senior Project manager with experience in delivering luxury residential projects on behalf of private clients. The Project management division of this family office deliver luxury residential projects across London and internationally on behalf of UHNWI acting as client representative and Project Managers. The successful candidate would be joining a tight nit team where there is a clear progression plan to head the Project Management department in the coming months. Key responsibilities include: Managing a project from 'concept to completion'. Assisting with the production of viability studies and ensuring budgets are adhered to throughout the project in conjunction with the finance department. Preparing a master program and implementing this. Managing and forming, where required, a professional consultancy team dealing with the necessary disciplines that each project requires. Attend all project meetings and ensure that you follow up on the minutes and actions. Maintaining project documentation, programmes, master budget etc. Managing the delivery of a comprehensive tender package for main contractors and separate packages for specialist contractors including all drawings and specifications. Pre‐qualifying contractors and suppliers. Arranging a comprehensive and competitive tender process. Managing the professional team, contractor and project. Monitoring and reporting on the contractor's progress against the contract programme. Arranging for design meetings, project meetings. About you: You will have at least 5 years' experience delivering luxury residential projects working at either a consultancy, main contractor or private office. You will have a strong network of professionals and specialists trades relevant to luxury residential projects. You will ambitious and able to step into a team leadership role.
