Senior MEP Project Manager

Position: Senior Project Manager MEP - Client Side

Location: London, flexible hybrid available

Salary: Up to £60,000 plus exceptional pension plan and extra benefits.

The Client: The Programme Management Office for an iconic and prestigious heritage landmark that is world renowned and synonymous with London and Great Britain. A dynamic, agile and highly professional office that prides itself on delivering exceptional results in a timely manner within a truly unique context.

The Opportunity: As the Senior Project Manager (MEP) you will:

  • Work closely with the PMO Directors and the other Project Managers, in overseeing works and driving the performance of contractor(s) to ensure that works are completed on time, within budget and to the required specification and quality standards.
  • Provide oversight, leadership and technical support to the Project Management team on the delivery of both temporary and permanent mechanical, electrical, public health and low voltage critical systems projects, from design and procurement to installation/construction, commissioning and hand back.
  • Support and lead (where required) the delivery of projects/packages across the programme, through all construction stages of the RIBA Plan of Work.

The Person: The successful candidate will:

  • Have a relevant professional qualification (Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineer/Low Current Engineer) and significant experience within the property / construction sector.
  • Display first-rate package/project management skills. Able to manage a varied portfolio of work, tight programmes, adapt to changing circumstances and prioritise work/resources.
  • Have proven experience to deliver a portfolio of packages, with detailed programme management of works in an occupied and live environment.
  • Be adept at managing complex stakeholder relationships, with a diplomatic and collaborative approach, natural interpersonal skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
