Capstone are working in partnership with an independent cost & project management consultancy to appoint a Senior Cost Manager within the Miami team.
With their HQ in the UK, this business has widened its scope and areas of business to cover the Americas with 150 staff currently working in North America. Providing cost management and project management services, this consultancy work across sector within commercial, retail, hospitality, residential and culture so you can expect to work with big tech clients, financial services institutions, hotels and museums. The company is run with a family ethos embedded within the culture; flexibility and work-life balance are important values maintained. Holiday allowance begins at 20 days as a standard across the business. This is a rarity due to local American firms offering 10 days typically.
You will be joining the team of 8 cost managers and project managers reporting into a Director. You will be expected to carry out pre and post contract cost management services across a varied portfolio of projects. This could include a mixed-use development, high end condo, residential, museums, ports and terminals with values ranging anything from $1million to $200 million. Projects are across Florida in Miami, Orlando, Tampa, Fort Lauderdale, Key West and more. There is also opportunity to support the New York office and Caribbean with cost managers working fluidly on projects in these locations.
- Quantity Surveying degree and or MRICS qualified
- Cost management experience within a similar capacity working on commercial, residential, mixed-use or hospitality projects
- Exceptional technical skills
- Ambitious, driven and client-facing
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
