Position: Senior Capital Project Manager

Location: Central London (Soho) plus travel

Salary: £85,000 to £95,000 plus Bonus & Benefits

A newly created position as Senior Capital Project Manager has become available to join the Development Team of an international hospitality accommodation brand. With locations across Europe including London, Amsterdam, Paris, Berlin, Barcelona & Rome as well as The US (Miami, New York & LA) and having been named as one of the 'Top Most Innovative Global Companies', this is an awesome organisation to join on a epic journey of growth.

The role;

  • From feasibility & land acquisition through to opening and effects sign off, you will be responsible for all aspects of the delivery process
  • Reporting to Lead Capital Projects Executive
  • Proactively encouraging the maximisation of time, cost and quality benefits during project delivery
  • Ensuring the appropriate internal resources are available to address project related issues
  • Overseeing and managing post completion/handover issues on defects and warranty process
  • Provide that projects are correctly licensed and permitted, at the time of handover
  • Responsible for nurturing and developing third party supplier contacts
  • Manage project coordination and communication between internal decision makers and construction and planning teams
  • Remain aware of stakeholder needs
  • Setting meeting agendas and chairing meetings as necessary
  • Create and update budgets for each project Preparing monthly reports, showing tracking against time, quality and cost

About you;

  • Up to 15 years relevant project management experience in the construction sector
  • Ideally experience in delivering hospitality/retail/leisure projects
  • Experience of managing construction projects in live environments
  • Experience of budget preparation, monitoring and change management
  • A diligent mind-set with a keen eye for detail and commercial awareness
  • Understanding of building construction and services
  • Able to multi task in order to handle competing priorities
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Project to a strong standard
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • A genuine interest to develop a skill set and in time take on more responsibility
  • Good time management and organisational skills
