Risk & Change Manager

Location: London

Contract type: Permanent

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum

Working in partnership with the most prestigious client-side organisation, we are looking to recruit an exceptional Risk & Change Manager. Joining an established in-house team in a new construction management role, The Risk & Change Manager be responsible for developing and managing Risk & Change management processes and reporting. They will be a key part of the PMO team providing support, guidance and resolutions to all matters of risk and ensuring that controls and standards are being met.

Day to day duties:

  • Implementing, embedding and maintaining effective risk and change management processes, systems and tools at project and programme level
  • Championing activities to identify, evaluate, mitigate and report on threats and opportunities throughout the lifecycle of the programme
  • Integrating the risk and change management processes within the framework of the programme controls policy and BPR Programme Management plan
  • Leading on the planning, preparation and regular review of the risk registers, working with the project and programme manager as owners of the registers
  • Establishing a robust and sustainable client change management process to facilitate timely decision making and execution

About you:

  • First-rate reporting skills and ability to communicate clearly and concisely across a range of stakeholders
  • An experienced user of programme controls tools and techniques
  • Demonstrable experience in relation to developing and implementing risk and controls programmes and ability to adapt to these changing scenarios
  • Ideally educated to degree level with relevant professional qualification managing risk and controls programmes on major capital works programmes preferably in a live environment and historic buildings
  • Genuinely passionate about and familiar with customer-driven approach to the delivery of projects with a rigorous approach to standards of and continuous improvement
