Project Controls and Reporting Manager

Location: London

Contract type: Permanent

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum

Working in partnership with the most prestigious client-side organisation, we are looking to recruit an exceptional Project Controls and Reporting Manager. Joining an established in-house team in a new construction management role, you'll be responsible for developing and managing the suite of programme controls within the PMO, including Schedule, Cost, Risk and Change Management and appropriate systems development for analysis and reporting.

Day to day duties:

  • Integrating the processes, procedures, systems and outputs of the core project controls functions
  • Defining, implementing and maintaining the programme data structures throughout the lifecycle of the programme
  • Applying appropriate levels of automation through application of system and tools
  • Creating, embedding and maintaining the programme and project lifecycle, governance and gateway controls
  • Ensuring timely, accurate and quality progress and performance reporting
  • Coordinating with the programme accountant to maintain and control the baseline budget and cost forecast

About you:

  • Effective communication within team and stakeholders
  • An experienced user of programme controls tools and techniques
  • Experience in the implementation of Earned Value Management based Project Control systems, in accordance with the relevant national standards
  • Experience working in NEC3 and/or JCT projects
  • Practical ability to use critical project management concepts
  • Ideally educated to degree level with relevant professional qualification managing risk and controls programmes on major capital works programmes preferably in a live environment and historic buildings
