London: potential for hybrid working, circa 3 days per week in the office

The Client: The Project Management Office for an iconic and prestigious heritage landmark that is world renowned and synonymous with London and Great Britain. A dynamic, agile and highly professional office that prides itself on delivering exceptional results in a timely manner within a truly unique context.
The Opportunity: As the Health and Safety Manager you will prioritise, promote and champion a positive health and safety culture, and facilitate the ongoing development of health and safety and well-being strategies, polices, protocols and practices. You will be responsible for the safety obligations and delivery of the reservicing programme alongside the well-being strategy, standards and processes. In addition, you will use your experience to provide advice, support and guidance to contractors including protocols, operational procedures, welfare facilities and safety requirements. There will also be the need to conduct regular audits and reviews at both site and office level. You will work closely with the Project Managers and Site Supervision team on risk assessments and method statements. Crucially, you will also work with the Fire Safety Manager and Access Team on all communication regarding potential hazards. The Person: The successful candidate will be collaborative, dynamic and agile with proven experience working in Health and Safety and will hold NEBOSH, or equivalent qualification, and Chartered Membership of IOSH and appropriate level of CSCS card. Ideally, you will have a background working in the property or construction sector and preferably have experience working in a live environment; this may be from another sector, such as aviation, healthcare or events, for example. You should have a working knowledge of training in the construction sector, along with risks such as legionella and asbestos, height, electricity and hazardous materials. This opportunity calls for a true team player with strong stakeholder relationship skills and the ability to work in a mature and conscientious manner within a truly unique environment.
