USA RELOCATION - DALLAS

QUANTITY SURVEYOR - up to $125,000 plus benefits and package.

Capstone are working in partnership with one of the worlds renowned independent Cost & Project Management consultancies to source a Cost Manager to work on the refurbishment of a portfolio of Data Centres in Dallas for a notable technology giant.

Our client is well known in the industry for their technical excellence, prolific schemes, highly trained individuals and project and service delivery. This organisation ensures they remain leaders in the field, continually investing in the development of their people through lifelong learning and structured training.

They are keen to speak to Quantity Surveyors with 3-5 years of experience who are interested in relocating to Dallas to work on data centre projects for a notable technology giant. Some data centre experience is preferred but not essential. The successful candidate, if not already chartered, will also receive APC support.

Roles / Responsibilities

• Prepare budget estimates and present to leadership to establish project budgets.
• Preparation of RFPs, advise on procurement for manage general contractors, suppliers and consultants.
• Bid and Quote evaluations, review clarifications, contract negotiations, PO management and invoice reviews.
• Post contract cost control including payment application reviews, change order management and negotiation and contract administration.
• Preparation and presentation of project cost reporting, cash flow forecasts, risk and contingency registers
• Monitor and update budget and facilitate budget approvals
• Preparation and agreement of financial project close out.
• Implementation of cost management best practises tailored to the clients needs.
• Regular attendance of client and project meetings, site progress walks and safety walks.

About you:

You will be an energetic, motivated Cost Manager/ Quantity Surveyor who is ambitious, open to exciting and new opportunities, while having a proven track record as an exceptional Cost Manager with the technical ability to continuously produce a quality service.
