Position: Project Manager

Location: London

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 + Package & Bonus

Our client, a leading bespoke Project Management and Development firm, is actively searching for an adept Project Manager to join their team.

Specialising in luxury residential development, they boast an impressive portfolio marked by projects of exceptional quality and meticulous attention to detail and design. This role presents a prime opportunity for a skilled Project Manager to contribute to the ongoing success of delivering exceptional luxury residential projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Super Prime Residential Focus: Spearhead the successful delivery of super prime residential projects, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of quality and design.
2. Client-Facing Role: Engage directly with clients to comprehend their needs, provide updates, and ensure the realization of their vision throughout the project lifecycle.
3. Construction Knowledge: Demonstrate a profound understanding of construction processes and sequences, facilitating effective management and coordination of project activities.
4. Problem-Solving Attitude: Proactively identify and address challenges, collaborating with the project team to find effective solutions.

Role:

• Develop and define project brief and scope.
• Conduct project feasibility reviews.
• Prepare project programs and budgets, updating regularly through project phases.
• Develop Project Management Strategy plan.
• Procure and appoint the consultant team on behalf of the client.
• Coordinate and oversee the design process with the lead designer.
• Define procurement strategy.
• Procure (Tendering/Negotiation) Contract Works.
• Draft Contracts.
• Administer contracts, including valuations and payment certificates.
• Chair and minute meetings.
• Ensure quality control and checking.
• Address snagging issues.
• Prepare internal and Client Reports.

Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

• 5 + years of experience delivering development/construction/refurbishment projects.
• University degree in a design or construction-related field.
• Proven experience in the super-prime property sector is preferable.
• Understanding and experience in administering the JCT Suite of Contracts.
• Commercial experience, including preparing budgets and valuing and certifying works.
• Strong understanding of construction - methods, materials, and sequence.
