Capstone recruitment are working exclusively with a medium sized cost management consultancy who specialise in the high-end residential and Hotel Market. They deal with some of the most High-Profile clients in the world who prioritise quality and luxury above all else.

They have and have just entered a new phase of growth and are looking for an assistant cost manager to assist on one of their new projects in Southwest London who is client facing, articulate and with excellent construction knowledge. They have a wide range of clients with varying project sizes and have excellent progression opportunities, with the opportunity to sit the APC also.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with Cost Planning
  • Able to work on own initiative to deliver work of exceptional quality and accuracy
  • Assisting with Tendering / Bill of Quantities production
  • Experience working in a client focused environment with a personal commitment to the delivery of excellent client service
  • Assisting with Preparation of Contract Documents
  • Assisting with Valuations/Reviewing Variations
  • Assisting with the preparation of Financial Reports to the Client
  • Attend Client Meetings

Candidate Requirements:

  • A degree preferably in Quantity Surveying but cognitive degree accepted
  • Interest in Quantity surveying drive to get Masters and/or RICS Chartered
  • Driver's License required
  • Confident and articulate - whilst assisting career path quickly becomes a Client facing role
  • Strong personality who has self-confidence commensurate with ability and skills. Likeable and engaging personality with universal appeal
