A fantastic opportunity to work for a private family office investing in real estate and other financial products. Their real estate portfolio has been grown over the last ten years and is held in trust. It is managed with two distinct objectives, firstly as a defensive investment providing secure and conservative wealth preservation, and secondly as a mechanism for generating returns, by strategically acquiring, developing and either letting or selling good properties. The portfolio currently comprises UK assets with a value of circa £350m and is a mainly commercial portfolio (80%) with some high-end residential properties, predominantly in London.
The family office takes responsibility for the full life cycle of assets, acquiring and actively asset managing as required. Day to day activities are outsourced to professional advisors. There is a strong emphasis on long term income yet they also opportunistically develop and refurbish in order to generate returns as appropriate.
The Property Analyst will be required to build cash flows and write reports to the board. The purpose of this role will be to assist the directors in carrying out analysis of potential central London residential development schemes. The role will involve due diligence, feasibility studies and research into planning policies. The role has unlimited prospects for the right person who can demonstrate these capabilities.
The ideal individual will be comfortable and proficient at carrying out detailed numerical analysis and will have an entrepreneurial edge with an eye for adding value. The role will require working autonomously in an environment that is flexible, fun and growth is encouraged. You will be ideally MRICS, have previous experience with London residential development, be proficient in Argus Developer and have a genuine interest in development, design and style.
