Position: Assistant Development Manager

Location: Central London (West End)

Job Summary:

The Assistant Development Manager role offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in project management and property development. The successful candidate will assist with managing live projects and will be trained to take on more responsibilities over time, growing into a full Development Manager role.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting with project management tasks such as issuing instructions and reporting to stakeholders

- Supporting contract negotiations and participating in project team meetings

- Helping to manage the design, construction, and fit-out phases of ongoing developments

- Involved in preparing reports for banks and investors

- Working closely with senior management on various project elements

Candidate Requirements:

- Experience: 3-5 years in a similar role e.g. Project Manager, Building Surveyor, or Quantity Surveyor, ideally from a consultancy background

- Skills:

- Basic understanding of contracts and experience in supporting or leading negotiations

- Strong communication and report-writing skills

- A willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment

- Client-facing experience is a plus
