Role: Quantity Surveyor (Consultancy)

Location: Manchester

Salary: £40,000-£55,000

Capstone are partners with a growing Manchester based Boutique Cost Consultancy. Our client has successfully completed impressive healthcare projects both private and public, outside this they have delivered lifestyle, student accommodation, and heritage projects.

Our client is looking for an excellent Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team. This organisation can provide excellent opportunities for development.

• Cost estimation and budgeting
• Tender documentation preparation
• Procurement management
• Contract administration
• Cost control and monitoring
• Value engineering
• Risk management
• Cost reporting
• Quality assurance
• Client liaison
• Team leadership and mentorship
• Continuous improvement
• Dispute resolution
• Health and safety compliance
• Sustainability considerations

Qualifications and Experience:

• Ideally MRICS Qualified Quantity surveying.
• Ideally experience within healthcare projects.
• Extensive knowledge of the real estate industry and construction processes.
• Expertise in the different stages of construction projects, starting from pre-construction planning and acquisition, through construction, completion, and eventual handover.
• Individuals who can lead teams and manage multiple projects.
• Skilled in developing Client and other project relationships.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management
• Proficiency in industry software and tools.
• A track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget.
