SALARY: $110,000 TO $140,000 PLUS BONUS & BENEFITS

A boutique real estate consulting firm based in Beverly Hills, Claifornia are recruiting an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager who will be responsible for the overall delivery of multiple projects across the full project life cycle from land acquisition, design through to construction. This is an integral role which will report to the Founder of the company. You will be leading on 3 prestigious projects from the outset across the luxury residential and hospitality sector, these are ground up projects, so experience working on ground up is desirable.

There is a strong pipeline of work across many asset classes including private residences, multifamily/mixed use, high end retail and offices. As a result of existing and new client project demands, there is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join this specialist team who have become a serious player in the LA construction & development sector. US experience and residency would be favoured.

Core responsibilities

  • Manage high-end Construction projects from conception to completion
  • Working with clients from initiation to ensure understanding of project scope and vision
  • Oversee each turn-key project, including details such as permit submission and design evaluations
  • Coordinate, plan and manage schedules
  • Review work progress daily
  • Process change orders
  • Collaborate with consultants and construction team to ensure project feasibility
  • Conduct regular project meetings
  • Prepare regular internal and external reports pertaining to job status
  • Negotiate with vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, analyse, manage, and mitigate risks
  • Build strong relationships with team members, vendors, and customers.

Knowledge, experience & qualifications

  • Degree Qualified - within a construction or real estate related discipline
  • 5+ years suitable experience on construction projects
  • Ground up and strong construction knowledge
  • Experienced in Procurement Delivery working in a client focused environment
  • Ability to take personal responsibility in dealing with clients and others
  • Ability to read drawings and plan sets
  • Understanding of risk management policies and procedures
  • Extensive experience managing budgets for large construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment
  • Experience managing multiple projects
  • Familiarity with construction management software packages
  • Good Presentation Skills
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Hard working, problem solving and decision-making
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time efficiently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer skills: proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal building code regulations
