Position: Senior Project Manager

Location: UK Nationwide role (extensive travel required)

Salary: up to £120,000 + large bonus + benefits

A Senior Project Manager is essential to the efficiency and timely development of projects, they require a first-class Project Executive to lead and manage property development activities on land identified by the Development Team. The roles main purpose is to take responsibility of portfolio management processes to ensure that the development pipeline projects meet strategic needs of the Dev. Co. Projects will vary in size with the most notable scheme including 400 residential units, over 100,000 sq ft of retail and leisure space and extensive public realm. Developments are based across the UK and extensive travel plus time in head office (London) will be required.

The role;

  • Development & Management of portfolio level risks and issues
  • Development of programme management processes and risks
  • Planning and defining scope of individual projects within the pipeline
  • Create, develop and support implementation of project procurement processes
  • Support, develop and advise on implementation and use of project management processes throughout the group
  • Lead, manage and coordinate PM activities in the development process including liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Be a trusted advisor to the Managing Director
  • Manage risk and stakeholder communications
  • Build and maintain a strong network of industry contacts including consultants and contractors

About you;

  • Ideally be degree educated and professionally qualified (MRICS, MCIOB, MAPM, RIBA Ceng)
  • Proven experience of portfolio, programme and project management of a range of projects on a wide geographic basis
  • Demonstrable knowledge of, and ability to manage end to end development process from a technical perspective
  • Proven experience of the management of JV partner and a wide variety of consultants and contractors
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent networking skills
  • Analytical - capable of articulating and reporting using financial metrics
  • Able to interpret complex information and data
  • Ability to undertake development appraisals
