Senior Facilities Manager for a Leading Diversified Property Owner

The Company
Our client is a well known REIT who are leaders of the property industry, heavily focussed on sustainability and employing the best in market which is where you come into the equation. This is an exciting newly open opportunity with good progression possibilities.

Senior Facilities Manager responsibilities
Based on site in one of their best known Melbourne assets, you will have 2 staff reporting to you to manage CAPEX, ensure building efficiency and compliance. You and your team will be responsible for: 
  • the delivery of reactive and planned preventative maintenance
  • building compliance and soft services including cleaning and security,
  • Identifying & implementing sustainability initiatives & CAPEX
The Senior FM will track budgets and participate in forecasting which will provide a strong commercial exposure. You and your team will manage the soft and hard services contracts as well as a strong CAPEX focus including reporting to the Asset Manager and Technical Services Head. You and your team will be critical conduits for the tenants and business to liaise.

Required
You will have a strong background in Facilities Management for Premium or A Grade office assets. Direct experience, responsible for multiple non-residential assets is expected along with building compliance and highly developed customer service and attention to detail is expected. You will have managed budgets and procured hard and soft services FM contracts.
A technical background and training in a Building Services discipline will be preferred, with scope to progress your capabilities and career. Exposure to sustainability initiatives will be highly regarded, especially Energy Efficiency and Water Minimisation. You will hold Australian Work rights and experience.
