Risk Coordinator

Salary: £25,000 per annum

I am currently working in partnership with one of the most prestigious client-side organisations, who are looking to recruit an exceptional Risk Coordinator. Joining an established in-house team, you will develop and manage the risk management processes and reporting for the reservicing programme as a key part of the PMO team. Providing support, guidance and resolutions to all matters or risk and ensuring that controls and standards are being met.

Day to day duties:

  • Promote a culture of risk awareness and management, provide regular reassurance reports to Programme Director & Controls Director
  • Lead on the planning, preparation and regular review of the risk registers, collaboratively with project and programme managers
  • Control, maintain and improve the processes, systems, tools and procedures which allow the effective measurement of project and programme risk profiles
  • Provide risk management input into planning organising and preparation of all governance review points
  • Working with risk owners, programme planner and cost consultants, develop robust worst case and most likely costs against each risk item
  • Coordinating with the programme accountant to maintain and control the baseline budget and cost forecast

About you:

  • Demonstrable experience in relation to developing and implementing systems and/or processes in a professional environment
  • Good people management and stakeholder relationship management skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across functional boundaries, where flexibility and a "can do" approach to teamwork is essential
  • Highly organised and efficient in the preparation of management reporting and data handling
  • First rate reporting skills ability to communicate clearly and concisely across a range of stakeholders
  • A logical problem solver with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritise work/resources to achieve the best outcome for the project
  • Ideally educated to degree level with relevant professional qualification and experience of managing risk and controls programmes on major capital works programmes preferably in a live environment and historic buildings
  • Excellent skills across a full MS Office suite of functions, project management tools and collaborative platforms (e.g. MS Project, Primavera, Aconex etc)
