Project Manager - Client Side

Basingstoke: Potential for hybrid working 2-3 days per week in the office

Remuneration: Up to £55,000 plus £2,500 car allowance, an exceptional pension plan and benefits package

The Client: The Project Management Office for a client-side regeneration team, working on an exciting development of mixed-use business, leisure, retail, and residential spaces. This large development will be served by excellent transport links and set within a sustainable environment.

The Opportunity: As the Project Manager you will work closely with the Project Director. Your focus will be to manage the implementation of various projects within emerging and current integrated, multi-million-pound, multi-agency infrastructure development and regeneration projects; these include a mix of leisure, retail and residential uses. The projects are significant and high profile with a combined Gross Development Value of circa £850m. They are central to the organisation's strategic vision and thereby help to ensure the future economic prosperity of the region.

The Person: The successful candidate will be dynamic, agile, enjoy working at pace and ideally:

  • Hold RICS qualification
  • Have proven experience working within a multi-agency environment, demonstrating high levels of collaboration with internal and external partners, and stakeholders.
  • Have practical experience delivering commercial property developments, success in complex professional and technical negotiations and demonstrate a clear understanding of the property development process.
  • Have experience of successfully negotiating construction, delivery and legal documentation.
  • Ability to set priorities and plans whilst monitoring progress to achieve results, in a timely and cost-effective way.
  • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills, alongside a creative and flexible approach to solving problems and making decisions.
