Position: Project Manager

Locatoin: Central London, travel to New York & The Cayman Islands

Salary: £75,000 to £100,000

Based in the heart of Soho, a multi-award-winning property advisor that project manages and interior designs some of the world's finest real estate, is recruiting a Project Manager to form part of a lean specialist global team. Projects consist of multi-million-pound large lateral apartments in Central London & New York to spectacular luxury hotel resorts in the Caribbean. Acting for a host of different clients, they offer a service that provides their clients with a hassle-free development experience. They pride themselves on being service orientated and proactive in their pursuit for perfection and delivery.

The role

As Project Manager you will be reporting internally running projects autonomously.

  • Managing a project from concept to completion
  • Assisting with the production of viability studies and ensuring budgets are adhered to throughout the project in conjunction with the finance department
  • Managing and forming, where required, a professional consultancy team dealing with the necessary disciplines to each project requires
  • Attend all project meetings and ensure that you follow up on minutes and actions
  • Maintain project documentation, programmes and master budget
  • Managing the delivery of a comprehensive tender package for main contractors and separate packages for specialist contractors
  • Prequalifying contractors and suppliers
  • Arranging a comprehensive and competitive tender process
  • Manage the professional external consultancy teams
  • Monitoring and reporting on contractor's progress against the contract programme
  • Arrange design and project meetings
  • Manage risk registers
  • Dealing with the QS and final accounts and practical completion
  • Preparing regular reporting for the client
  • Reporting and discussing the projects with senior management at regular meetings

About you

The ideal candidate will have circa 8 years' experience with a focus on residential and or hotels property development.

  • Construction or Real Estate related degree
  • Professional qualification (MRICS, MCIOB, RIBA, MAPM etc.)
  • Experience managing construction projects for a contractor, consultant or developer
  • A clear communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Flexible and able to travel abroad when required
  • High standard of written communication
  • Committed to team success
  • Highly organized
  • Able to work using own initiative
