Capstone are recruiting on behalf of a multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy for a Chartered Quantity Surveyor to join their London team.
This award-winning business have a strong regional presence with over 10 offices UK wide, and 650 staff. They offer a wide range of services including: cost management, building surveying, project management, town planning, architecture and engineering. The London office has grown significantly over the years from 12 to 65 and have continued growth plans in response to the needs of their clients. The team in London recently moved into newer offices to support said growth plans, where a flexi-desk policy is in place, encouraging communication, relationships and cross selling across the disciplines.
They work across sectors with both private and public institutions in residential, heritage, education, healthcare, hotels & leisure, motor sport, transport & infrastructure and retail.
You will be joining one of the 3 quantity surveying teams, reporting into an Associate. Initially, you will be supporting on healthcare and decent home projects, however there is opportunity to be involved with heritage, private residential, education, commercial and bank monitoring. Your duties will include: evaluating costs and advising, preparing tender documents including Bill of Quantities, negotiating final accounts and advising architects and engineers. You will be given the opportunity to manage your own projects and a clear path to progress to Senior.
