Position: Assistant Project MAnager/Project Manager

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 + flexible working + 28 days holiday + project bonuses and business development bonus.

Capstone are retained by a new age, unique construction consultancy to find an experienced Project Manager to join their established New York team. The founders of this organisation saw an opportunity to things differently and are leading the charge with innovative solutions to Cost and Project MAnagement in the USA. This opportunity involves working for multiple clients but from the outset you will be working on projects with a very well known major developer.

The Role:

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be working in the New York office, supporting the wider business and Partners in the delivery of projects across sectors and will get involved on a major developer account from the outset. This presents the unique opportunity to be a part of an innovative, expanding organisation and assist in the growth of the office. The nature of the works is centred around quality, so attention to detail and quality above all else will be at the core of your success.

Client-facing role

RFP preparation & levelling

Change Order review & negotiation

GC management

Contractor & sub-contractor buy-out review and recommendation

About you:

You will be an energetic, motivated Project Manager who is ambitious, open to exciting and new opportunities, while having a proven track record as an exceptional construction professional with the technical ability to continuously produce a quality service. The successful candidate will ideally have extensive knowledge of the commercial, offices and retail sectors, preferably gained in a construction consultancy environment. Individuals must currently be in country in the USA and be US citizens.
