Alex is a Senior Consultant and leads Capstone’s Building Services and Facilities Management offering across the UK. Alex graduated from Kingston University with a 2:1 (Hons) Degree in Mechanical Engineering, and following three years in industry started his recruitment career specialising in the Building Services sector. Since then, Alex has gained five years’ experience, providing him with an in-depth knowledge and an extensive network of industry contacts from management to senior executives. 

 

One of Alex’s biggest motivators is building lasting relationships with his clients and candidates, and having a positive impact on both. 

 

Within Alex’s first week at Capstone he took part in LandAid’s campaign ‘To Infinity And Beyond’ cycling the equivalent distance from the Earth to the international space station. Since then he has continued to have active charity involvement with the LandAid 10k, CBRE Property Bike Ride and the JLL Duathlon.

Technical Services Manager Central London - Blue Chip Client HQ £65,000 - £70,000 plus package and bonus An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the most established building services and facilities management providers, working on one of their brand-new client contracts, a commercial blue-chip client HQ in the heart of London. The business provides specialist support in the operation, maintenance and repair of building services, and excel in the maintenance of technically demanding blue-chip and critical sites across the capital. As Technical Services Manager, you will be based at and responsible for the maintenance and operation of one of the most recognised buildings in London. The position will work closely with the client and the engineering team to supply the agreed high level of service and to make sure that all KPI's are being adhered to. The existing team is made of over 20 employees, including a number of managers, supervisors, engineers and support staff. The principal duties of this role include: Ensure client requirements are met and relationships are maintained and exceeded. Ensure all PPM's, reactive and proactive maintenance works are carried out in accordance with contractual requirements, agreed KPI and SLA's. Responsible for the budget and producing monthly operating, financial and resource reports for the operations manager. Plan and implement building shutdowns and complex client project works. Responsible for the technical development of all staff, which will include annual appraisals. Responsible for managing the company's quality procedures on site. Applicants for this role must be able to demonstrate the following: Qualified in mechanical or electrical engineering to City & Guilds, HNC, HND level or higher. Strong understanding of HV systems, ideally HV authorised. Experience managing large multi-disciplined engineering teams Experience of service delivery in high profile financial services or critical data centre site. Senior Project Manager - Interior Fit-Out

Senior Project Manager - CAT A & CAT B Fit-Out £75,000 plus £6,000 car allowance and 10% bonus London A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a delivery-focused Senior Project Manager to lead a pipeline of CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects, being delivered at one of London's most iconic buildings. As the Senior Project Manager, you will be the first point of contact for the client as you take the 200,000sqft office from shell and core through to completion. The site has two fit outs planned, which will be at different stages and run consecutively including the build, M&E, HVAC, finishes etc., with additional phases running into 2019. Experience in delivering CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects across commercial offices is preferable, with a sound knowledge of, and exposure to, the full project life cycle. However, any solid experience within a construction related project management environment would be considered for the right candidate, who is keen to develop their career within this space.
